Honey is well-known not only for its naturally sweet flavor, but also its medicinal properties. You can also use it to improve your facial skin and give it the glow it deserves. By making your own honey face mask at home, you can enjoy the many beauty benefits and skin improvements without breaking the bank.

For oily skin

You can get rid of excess oil from your face by using a honey face mask. Simply mix a tablespoon of aloe vera with two tablespoons of honey. Add a pinch of turmeric, and apply the mixture over your face. Leave the mask on for about 20 minutes before rinsing off with water.

For brighter skin

Mix both ingredients until you create a thick paste. Apply the mask over your face, and allow it to dry up. Allow the mask to set for about half an hour, and then scrub it using cold water.

For dry skin

You can now moisturize your skin instantly with honey. Simply mix two tablespoons of honey with a tablespoon of coconut oil, and massage the mixture on your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes before rinsing off.

To shrink pores

Egg whites are great for shrinking huge pores. To tighten your skin, mix one egg white with a tablespoon of organic honey. Leave the mask it for half an hour and then rinse off.

For wrinkles

Honey masks can also help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Simply mix equal parts of oatmeal and honey, and apply the mixture over your face and let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse your face with warm water.

For blackheads

You can say goodbye to your blackheads with the help of a honey face mask. Mix two tablespoons of hoeny with half a teaspoon of cinnamon, and apply on the affected areas. Leave it on for about 15 minutes before rinsing. Skip the cinnamon if you are allergic or have sensitive skin.

For acne

Mixing half a teaspoon of nutmeg with two tablespoons of honey to make a face mask can help get rid of acne. Leave the mask overnight for best results, but you may want to do a patch test first to avoid irritations. This mask is not suitable for people with sensitive ski or are allergic to the ingredients.
