Fashion and beauty trends are constantly evolving-so much so that it can be a challenge to keep up with it all! And, developing your own personal style is also an ever-changing journey. Although I never adopt a fashion or beauty trend just because someone says that it’s “in”-I do like to get ideas and adjust my style to beauty trends that I find appealing from beauty and fashion blogs.
So, what’s the best way to not only stay on top of emerging fashion and beauty trends, but to pick up valuable tips and tricks from those in the know? I find my best inspirations come from following beauty and fashion blogs that I’ve come to trust and rely on. I can not only find out what’s hot, but I can also pick up make up and style tips, as well as learn new ways to put together fashionable looks from beauty and style bloggers.
I’ve put together a list of 8 fashion and beauty blogs that, if they aren’t already on your radar, should be for 2016. Not only do they cover hot trends, but they are also full of style tips and tricks that anyone can apply-not just the fashion forward.

I Covet Thee

Beauty and fashion blogger Alix Coburn dishes the pros and cons of the latest beauty, skincare, and makeup products out there. She creates great content, including in-depth looks at her personal skincare routine, in-depth product reviews, and plenty of hair, makeup, and style tips. With excellent photos and a fun vibe, ICovetThee.com is a must for anyone interested in beauty and style.
A Model Recommends

Have you always wanted the inside scoop as to how professional models stay keep their skin looking so flawless (besides airbrushed photos and a ton of foundation…)? Well fashion model and mother Ruth Crilly created AModelRecommends.com in 2010 to review beauty and skincare product trends as they come and go in the fashion world. Despite being a working fashion model, Ruth comes across as a girlfriend that you can relate to and trust. If you want honest product reviews from a real fashion model, this is the blog to bookmark in 2016.

Blogger Cara gives readers tips and product recommendations for beauty, skincare, and haircare on her blog maskcara.com. She also features Makeover Monday, where she posts a before an after video and write-up. She details the products used so that you can replicate the look at home. Although she speaks to trends, she also has plenty of everyday tips for those of us who might just want to update our look with a simple make-up or hair tweak as opposed to a total makeover.
The Small Things Blog

Blogger Kate, who owned a private hair studio before her first son was born, started her blog with video hair tutorials that morphed into TheSmallThingsBlog.com. In addition to fabulous hair tutorials, she also reviews beauty and skincare products and trends. Her style is one that will appeal to a wide audience of ladies who just want to look their best-but not necessarily like they just stepped off a runway.
Cityscape Bliss

Blogger Tereza, originally from the Czech Republic, now calls Birmingham UK home. She blogs not only about beauty, skincare, and fashion trends, but also covers food, lifestyle, garden, travel, and even has a DIY section to reflect here creative, do-it-yourself abilities. her blog Cityscape-bliss.com is always entertaining and full of fun tips and trends and is definitely a must-read for 2016.

Blogger Tanya Burr started out in 2009 on YouTube, making fashion, beauty, and baking videos for her viewers. Her blog, TanyaBurr.co.uk, begain in 2011-and she hasn’t looked back since! She even launched her own line of cosmetics in 2015. She features fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and baking tips on her blog, which always has great photos and video content to check out.

One of the reasons I love perusing DulceCandy.com is for the amazing tutorials she publishes. From makeup tips to hair styles, blogger and style guru Dulce gives you the tools you need to actually recreate the looks you want. She also reviews products and publishes amazing photos of her personal style (which always looks great!).

Blogger Sabrina of TheBeautyLookBook.com started her blogging journey in 2009 while pursuing a master’s degree in finance and marketing. She creates in-depth product reviews and gives her unbiased opinion on makeup and hair products and trends for her readers. She also offers style tips, although her primary focus is beauty. Her blog is full of excellent beauty recommendations and is one to bookmark for 2016.
